"Find in Timeline" not working

Hi all, I have read a few posts that highlight this feature being buggy - but back in 2018 it seems.

My issue is i have a large project and when i want to edit sketches or bodies - i cant find them in the timeline....

I am right clicking the body/sketch in the browser tree > clicking on 'find in timeline' - and it just does nothing..... the timeline does not move, nor is anything highlighted in yellow. I have tried isolating / clicking bodies / faces etc in the model as described in previous posts but i cannot get it to work.

I have to go through each of my 100+ steps in the timeline and see which one is the one i need to edit.

Can someone help please - this is a big problem for me when making design revisions.

Thanks

Jeremy

Hi,

the conditions:

find in timeline.png

This sketch cannot be found if a secondary component is active.

Thanks Guenther..... I'm not sure where i was making that mistake - its working now.

Buuuuut, when you do what you suggested - it only leads to the specific timeline events for that component..... is there a way for 'find in timeline' to actually just move the timeline 'marker' to that component rather than isolating the few operations that are associated with it?
