Hi @oliverbarton,

 

The study needs to have the "problem size" reduced in order to stay below the 12-hour solve time estimate. Some suggestions:

  1. Reduce the number of mesh elements by:
    • Increasing the average element size
    • Use a local mesh control in areas of interest that require a dense mesh
    • Remove small features such as fillets, embossed text, etc.
  2. Take advantage of symmetry. If the model and loading is symmetric, use 1/2 or 1/4 of the model, and add a Frictionless constraint to the faces along the planes of symmetry.
  3. Reduce the "Number of Result Intervals per Step" in the study settings.
