Project list navigation inconsistency

Folks is it just me or do others experience a Project list that has a mind of its own. After I close and reopen Fusion 360 (I close by using the top right X ) , what project it opens on is random. It always used to open on "Recent Data" which was cool. Now it opens on projects I haven't changed, but is a team project. Or it may open on the project I was last working in.

Why don't we have normal option to open last worked on model, would also save me hunting around. I have not found any startup options in preferences.

This is all on one computer I take it. It should be trying to open in the same place that it closed. If you are working in a project it should at least take you to the top level of the project when you reopen Fusion.

Are you logging out at any point?

Yes all done one the one computer and I have tracked down the issue. I want to always reopen on the "Recent Data"list.

So I always select this, open my work , close the navigation to get the max working space. Then When I want to exit I use the top right X.

When I reopen it shows the screen without the navigation as I exited , but when I then open Navigation it opens to one particular Project that I haven't worked on. To make life simple I have attached a video (I have edited out the load waits)

Thanks for details. I know for sure I've seen what you describe but I cannot reproduce it now in a few simple tests.

Test:

1. Change to Recent Data view

2. Close and start Fusion

The result is about 50/50 showing me either recent data, or the top level of my project list. Perhaps try leaving the data panel open to recent data as you close Fusion. Does it re-open to the same place, the top of the project list, or inside a project instead?

As this is patently a bug I think you (Autodesk) should fix this. As you clearly stated how it should work , and I clearly showed it does not , and you recreated. I dont think I should be doing anything.

Please can this be raised as a bug.

Is there a way I can track this or is it just an internal system (aka Github)

I am seeing this one happen a lot more recently - hope it makes it onto the list of bugs to get fixed soon! When it does not open in the last one I was in, it always seems to go to the project that is the oldest one.
