Please attach you model when you are asking about an operation you are trying to execute on it.  The forum users can not tell you a lot from just a picture.

You cannot spit a solid body with another solid body.

Looking at the mess in your timeline I would strongly suggest you spend a few hours going through the tutorials in the Learn & Support section of this Forum.

Perhaps you are thinking about the Combine command?  Anyway, whatever you are trying to model, @TrippyLighting has the best idea.  If you do through the tutorials Fusion 360 will be a lot more rewarding and enjoyable.  You did not really define what you wanted to do with this model anyway.

'Split', in it's simplest form, uses planes or planar faces to split a body or bodies into separate bodies.

Think of the body as a block of butter, and the plane or flat face as the knife, you end up with 2 blocks of butter.

Using this analogy, the knife has to be able to cut through the entire body, resulting in 2 halves.

The error you are getting means that the plane or surface you selected as the tool (the knife) cannot intersect the body (it either does not enter the body at all or it has no point of exit through the body, meaning it cannot create 2 halves based on the plane you selected).

I hope that helped.

Mike.
