I’m designing a case for a product for school and om trying to use the sweep tool to make a design gap and snap connections.
The problem is that my design curves on top and my sweep doesn’t stay straight because of that.
anyone that can help me? 🙂
Sweeping isn't the first and only problem in your design. You are adding details such as some of the fillets way too early in your design process, making later edits much more difficult than they need to be.
You also have 4 yellow highlighted icons in your timeline. Those indicate warnings. You may want to fix those before progressing.
The very first thing you do in your design is linking another object into the design to use as a reference. However A. That object is free floating in space and not grounded or otherwise fixed. An accidental drag can easily destroy your design.
Then you start working with that object as a base, but the object is not aligned in any axis/plane with the origin.
@nick.somersPZZFR I've taken a deeper look at the design and recreated part of it. Although, I would still do a couple of things differently.

Hi Nick,
I believe you need to use "Path + Guide Surface" Type Sweep. Select the bottom face or a vertical reference to keep the Sweep profile aligned. You will also notice that the face connecting to the Sweep isn't ideal either. You will need to make the Sweep profile deeper.
