Problem with navigation trackpad

Hi i'm used to work with my mac on fusion navigating with the trackpad, but recently the navigation system doesn't function properly, the only command allowed is the zoom with the action i used to pan. I checked the preferences and nothing changed, and even if i restarted many times the program the problem persists. Any suggestions?

The build you are running is an older build. It doesn't have the latest improvements to Trackpad. Please update to the latest build. How to update Fusion 360.

For everyone else who may be reading along. Here is the current about box. It comes in handy from time to time, so I thought it best to provide an example. Today's build is 2.0.16753.

I've seen Fusion 360 auto update so many times I assumed that it always does that by itself, but I guess I've been running it for a while without restarting so it hasn't had a chance recently.

Having found answers for previous builds, they gave the clues to the answer on the current build: 

in the latest build as of 10-25-2023, the 'use mac native gestures' is no longer available  --- activate "use gesture based view navigation", second from bottom in "general preferences" -- this will get you trackpad panning + pinch-to-zoom
