Problem with edit manufacturing settings in Slicer for Fusion 360.

Hello! The problem is when I try to edit material (or add  new preset ) in manufacturing settings,  Windows reports to me that the program doesn't work.  With no any explanations.

I mean, if I import any shapes to Slicer, it can say to me "Good Bye" when I try to change IN. to MM. or edit material thickness, or length/width, etc.

And I don't know what's wrong.

This problem concerns only the imported files.((

With Example Shapes, all works great.

Hi @Anonymous,

I'm sorry you experiencing this issue.

I understand that you are unable to add custom materials. However, you can change it with a sample file we provided.

I tried in my Win10 and it worked so, I think we need to figure out what is different between us.

Do you have any Antivirus program? could you try it after disabling?

I shared my test file. could you test it whether can edit or add it?

Can you open the slicer with administrator permission?

Is there anything else which could prevent working properly?

I look forward to your reply

Many thanks,

Ahreum.

Yes I have Avast antivirus. OS Windows 8.1. I want to try to proceed to your recommendations on the home computer as I am afraid to disconnect something on the working computer. And where I can see your test file?

Hi @Anonymous,

I'm sorry I forgot to attach the file Smiley Sad please find the attached file.

Are you able to modify or add it in my test file?

It would be fine if you just launch the slicer as an administrator permission and disable the AntiVirus Program.

I look forward to your reply

Many thanks,

Ahreum.

Most of the crashes on Windows (I'll assume it's Windows 10) happen due to either lack of updated graphic drivers or onboard graphics, which tend to make the product fail. Please check this and let us know.

Thanks!
