Printing from Fusion 360 to Standard Laser Printer

When I am sizing something, I sometimes like to print out a drawing and compare it directly to a part.  Only problem is that the print dialog in Fusion 360's print command (under file in the menu) automatically scales the drawing.  So when I tell Fusion 360 it is 59 mm, it comes out 57.5 on the print.  I found a workaround to ouput to a PDF (on the toolbar), and then use the standard Windows Print Dialog to print it 100% scale from them.  That works.

Is there a way to force Fusion 360 to use the default Windows print dialog when printing from the file menu so that I don't have to go through two steps?

Hi @marshalltjones

We just recently logged this internally as FDWG-10876. Thanks for bringing it to our attention! You definitely have the workaround correct for now.

Cheers,

Karina

Hello @marshalltjones @karina.harper

Currently our team is working on to provide more controls [Advance Print controls] on drawing print and scaling is one part of it. Users will be able to choose the scaling for the print.
Very soon that might get live to all our users.

Thank you,

Best Regards
