So there's .0015" distance between the two below faces but this is just a test part so I want both faces to be flush:
After pushing the top face of the tapered bosses to be flush with the top face of the part (I did not enter in a distance of .0015" but rather made my second selection the face I want to push to, as shown in below video):
I get a very small value when measuring the distance :
