Preference of Tool Library

Want to say kudos for allowing users to choose whether to use the new or old style tool library option.  However, When I uncheck and choose to use the old style tool library system & click to apply.  It does not revert to this the next time I open Fusion.  It automatically chooses the new library...  Hope this will be a quick & easy fix!

if you are having trouble getting the option to stick, then try opening Fusion 360 go directly to Preferences and change the option and then close Fusion 360 again right after and wait for it to properly close. This should make the option stick, if it for any other reason is not saved properly after other work.

@Farzati.Scott Thankyou. Can you confirm that other feature flags when turned on/off through preferences are maintained when you close and re open Fusion. The developers in the team would like to know if the issue is related to all feature flags or just the tool library.

Yes, they seem to work fine. Just the Tool Library seems to not stick
after you close the app

After some investigation, it turns out that there is a general flaw related to the saving of the state of the "Preview Features". The value of these options is saved AFTER the file that persists the settings is saved, and so if no later changes are made in the session, the value is not remembered.

You can work around this by going back into the Preferences dialog, and making some other change in Preview Features, which will cause the file to be written with the proper value for the previous change.

I understand what you're saying although it never seemed to be an issue in
the past. However if I change another preference that I use or wish not to

Yes, a little. And, as it turns out, it's not quite as simple as I thought. After tinkering with this some more, this particular flag does seem to get reset by later actions, so the workaround I identified doesn't seem to fully work.
