Hi All, I'm a guitar builder from Tübingen/ Germany . Made my first steps with fusion and a nice CNC machine...

On a quiet simple project my postprocess produces "name.cnc.failed" files.

Checked all the settings-all the other projects work...

Dont even know where to start searching!

Hello @Anonymous

If you have no dialog box displaying the error, you can try to find the log file created when posting.

Try to post a file and note the name you are using. (for example 9876)

Then if you are running windows, open a file explorer and dig into the folder :

C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Local\Temp\1\Fusion360CAM\1

Try to locate the file 9876.log in this folder.

Attach or copy the content of this file, there will be an explanation on the root cause for the error.

In my example :

###############################################################################
Error: The CNC does not support the required tool/process. Only laser cutting is supported.
Error at line: 291
Error in operation: 'Through-Auto_Center_without lead in/out'
Failed while processing onSection() for record 258.
###############################################################################

After looking at the error message, we will be able to give you more precision on what to do.

Have a pleasant day.

Regards
