Is there a way to force balloons to be placed on mid-level components?
I've already switched the parts list structure to all level. I have another base view off to the side that suppresses components I don't want in the parts list - a few top level components, and the subcomponents of the boards. It probably isn't helping that the 3D PCBs generated by Fusion only have subcomponents, no body in the top level.
When I try to place balloons, they only end up on the top-level component.
My structure is like this:
- Boards (top level for the drawing sheet, 2nd level overall)
- Board X w/ Screws
- Board X (linked 3D PCB generated by Fusion)
- Screw (imported McMaster component)
- Screw (imported McMaster component)
- Board X w/ Screws (copy of above)
- Board Y w/ Screws (similar to above with a different board)
Also, is there a way to hide some mid-level components that are just used for organization from the parts list while leaving their children? (ex: "Board X w/ Screws" above)
