Personal Hub? Hobbyist License?

I've downloaded and installed Fusion 360 for hobbyist use.
Upon launching, I see that the license is "Startup License" and I was prompted to make a "Team".

Is there a way to make this just a personal hub?
Apparently, previous versions had this ability.
Is there a specific single-hobbyist license that I did not properly sign up for ?

Hi @Anonymous ,

That is to be expected! All new users will have a Team hub by default, as we slowly transition away from personal hubs. Team hubs allow for more control and better collaboration with your data, although collaboration is not neccessary. In terms of usage on your end - it should be no different than if you were registered as a start-up with a personal hub.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,

Sorry for the reply on a quite old thread, but I have an issue just about what you said in your last sentence.

I have been using Fusion 360 free for a while now, since I only create designs for myself, and rarely publish them free of charge on Thingiverse at most, however this morning I woke up after a while of not using the program with a "Expired: Buy Now" subscription status, and my Team Hub is in "Basic Access" mode.

I've read on https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-t... how to renew a personal subscription, thinking it was ended my 1 year license, however on the personal Fusion 360 enrollment page just a "Something went wrong when creating your hobbyist license" text is displayed, with no clue on what the heck that error was.

I'm now stuck with a Team Hub I cannot use (and don't want to, I would have been happy enough with a Personal Hub, but those are getting deleted and I was forced to create a Team instead), and can only work on Fusion files locally, exporting them as local files every time.

What's wrong with this license setup and team thingy? I might as well learn FreeCAD since I still have a lot to learn about Fusion too, if Fusion license is this complicated to address every time...

Thanks in advance,

Have a nice day.
