Pattern on Path - Not Following Path

The pattern does not follow the path, the path was created by offset then I tried with just straight lines and 2 point arc, same result.

I've tried this with features (opt/id/adj) and bodies and I get the same result, looking for suggestions, thanks

Ooops... @g-andresen ...

It seems there are multiple issues here. Mine, originally, was only about following the path correctly in a symmetrical way. Your "explosion" of elements when selecting orientation along the path direction seems even more "creative"!

BTW: Your dialogue shows another dropdown field "Compute Option" which I haven't seen so far. - Is development on this dialogue/tool ongoing currently?

I really hope your developers can get this fixed. The pattern tool, currently, is the only real way to create a larger number of copies without spending days... (The Move/Copy command does not allow to make multiple copies.)

Cheers!

1. I am not an employee of AD
2. safe handling of the tool requires some experience at the moment.
3. in some situation e.g. I prefer the "Faces" option instead of bodies or features.

Compute option has always been there for patterns of type "feature" (not for Face pattern, body pattern, etc).

Pattern on path is currently undergoing some focused bug fixes that should be available later this year.

Until those are available, I recommend trimming the path, or positioning the objects to be patterned so that they are at the start point of the path.  That is the best way to get the results you are most likely to want.
