Parameters Missing From CNC Machine Definition

Hi folks. I'm new to the CAM side of F360 and I'm trying to set up my first CNC Router. I've watched some useful YouTube videos but some of the parameters they use are missing from my view.

I'm using the hobby licence so I wonder if these settings are not available to me or if they've been moved to another screen in a recent update, or if there's something else going on.

In the screenshot, the image on the left is a clip from one of the videos I followed, and the on the right is my screen. As you can see, I'm missing the machine dimensions and workpiece options which, to my admittedly inexperienced mind seem kind of important.

Any ideas?

Thanks for reading.

I believe you are watching a rather old video.  I am using a Fusion 360 Subscription license and mine looks the same as your screen capture.  I edited at a variety of machines and they are looked basically the same.

Thanks, that's a partial relief; at least my screen's not broken. The videos were only about a year old so, not *that* old, but certainly old enough for things to have changed.

But that still leaves the question: How do I tell Fusion 360 how big my machine is and how big its work area is?

You can set the axis limits on the kinematics tab.2023-05-15_8-46-39.png

Thank you.

I did find those settings but, being a neophyte to CNC/CAM I wasn't 100% sure it was the same thing.

Much appreciated.
