Order By Height - Flat Machining Strategy 3 Axis

I have what must be a straightforward issue but I cannot seem to get fusion to solve it.

I have a fairly complex model which is the front of a building, with lots of flat planes all on different levels and with some islands that are fairly delicate and can break if machined incorrectly. If I use flat machining, it goes to the lowest of the flat surfaces first, which then leaves a large amount of stock on top of the islands, and when it comes to machining them they usually snap off and ruin the part (made from wood). there must be a way to ask fusion to machine the top flat surface first, then the next lowest, then the next lowest, on and on until it gets to the bottom - I dont mind it taking ages. The only way I can do this is by selecting each face individually as the bottom surface using about 25 different "Flats" which is really time consuming, and is a nightmare to edit the settings as you need to do it 25 times. Surely there is a way like order by descending Z Height?

I dont think that "Order by height" does anything either but I might be using it wrong...?

Hi @georgeHA2BB,

I just wanted to check in and see how things are going—were you able to get this resolved, or are you still needing a hand?

If you’ve already found a solution, we’d really appreciate you sharing it here. It can be incredibly helpful for others in the community who might run into the same issue down the line.

If you’re still working through it, no worries at all—feel free to post an update whenever you’re ready, and the community will be happy to jump in and help out.
