Orbit - middle mouse button also zooms

I design in Inventor, but I'm being forced to use Fusion for CAM (sorry, little salty, just recently realized this...), I've got my Inventor orbit set up to middle mouse button and it works fine. 

I've just recently begun to setup Fusion so I can start working in there, and I tried to set up the controls the same here ( Orbit = MMB). It technically works, but as I hold the MMB in to orbit it also incrementally zooms out until I let off MMB. It's confusing since it works perfectly in Inventor, but not Fusion (both Autodesk programs, and same mouse).  

Does anyone else have this issue? Maybe it's a Fusion 'feature' I'm unaware of (sorry, still salty)? 

Edit - I found that the Solidworks preloaded setup works fine, which only adds to confusion. I'm used to shift+mouse move to pan, where as this has ctrl+mouse move, but I suppose that's close enough.

I too come from the Inventor world so I set the Pan,Zoom and Orbit to Inventor.  I will agree with you the middle button does not Orbit (unless you hold down the Shift key at the same time) but you do have the Inventor Orbit function key "F4" if you want it.  The Shift key is easy to get used to.
