Orbit and geometry randomly become inverted frequently!

This has been an on going issue for me for at least a year. It doesn't matter what machine I am on. I have a 3DConnexion Space explorer mouse. Randomly when orbiting a model the geometry becomes inverted. The origin flips sides and all motion is reversed. I feel like I'm going to have a stroke when this happens! If I spin the model around more it will go back to normal for a bit. It doesn't matter if I move with the space mouse or the regular mouse using the middle button.

I have attached a screen cast which starts with the origin incorrectly inverted. I am rotating the model with the space mouse. You will see to origin appears incorrect on the top side of the model and again on the back side. I am having to move my hand opposite to what my normal controls are. Once the model passes orthogonal to the XY plane the model magically goes back to normal. Sometimes it takes many rotations before things are back to normal. This is happening often enough that I'm about to quit fusion. It destroys my flow.

Yes, believe it or not it is an optical illusion created because of the
lack of perspective. When this happens look up at the orientation cube
while you rotate and it will reset your brain.

Did you watch the video I posted? The orientation cube says bottom at the beginning of video and then says top at the end of video for the same orientation of the pig canvas. Watch the pigs ears on the canvas, the cube says two different things from the beginning of the video to the end and when it switches, the space mouse controls also invert making spinning reversed (Left becomes right, Up becomes down, etc). It is most definitely flipping.

@joseph.wrenn.frederick. I apologize, you are correct. After recording and rewatching again and again, I see the orientation differently everytime I watch the recordings. I appreciate that you responded. Do you have any other tips to help stay oriented while moving around? Does changing to perspective instead of orthographic in the viewcube help? My mind is blown that it has been playing tricks on me this whole time.

So, I don't know about everyone else but the original issue described is just an optical illusion because of transparent features/models. In this video however, is the real issue that you're describing. It happens quite frequently for me and is a really big problem, as you can see. If anyone has any ideas I'm open to it. I've tried changing all kinds of settings the internet can provide, I'm using free orbit, I've tried using F2 to reset the camera view, and the viewcube. Nothing makes it stop instantly. It will just randomly start doing it randomly stop doing it.

@matthewbndr66

Here is an idea - can you Attach a file that exhibits unexpected behavior?

There should be an embedded video in my original comment of the behavior.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?
