Opening a file forces timeline recreation from scratch and crashes the software.

Hi,

I have a large file containing hundreds of bodies and sketches, and a very extensive timeline. When opened, Fusion 360 seems to want to recreate the timeline from scratch – this never finishes and ultimately crashes the software (about 30 minutes into the processing the software gets stuck trying to construct a plane). The file is therefore impossible to open.

The file was opening correctly (without trying to recreate the timeline) about 2 weeks ago (I often go back to it without saving any changes), but stopped – presumably due to an update. This issue only occurs on Windows 10 (18363), version 2.0.10564. It works fine on a colleague's MacBook. How can I get around this?

Best regards,

Jakub

Thanks for your reply. We tried exporting as *.f3z on the MacBook, but the export fails every time - presumably the same root cause?
