Open command enlarges STL files by a factor of 10....can we fix this issue / annoyance

When I am working in the Design mode in Fusion 360, I have a model/meshbody I am working on, I want to copy another STL into the Design I am working in.  I open the file menu and select open and then select a new STL to work on.  After this I select the new STL in the current design window and then switch to the design window I want to copy the STL into.  I select Paste and the model/STL is brought into the design window.  The model is 10X larger than the original and there is no way to fix this within the commands/menu of Fusion 360.

I have made some pictures of the process that show the problem.

I looked at the Insert command and it does fix this issue, however, it seems that the copy command should also not be  enlarging the STL files that are being manipulated/pasted.

Can this be fixed or an option put in that allows the sizing to be selected as options?

Thanks,

Richard

No you have no control over this, if a file format is unitless the cloud translators default to CM. Can you use Insert Mesh on the insert menu instead, it gives you the option to set the file units, it will default to the design's current units.
