Opacity control not working

Since this morning's update Opacity Control doesn't seem to be functioning for me. I have tried creating new bodies and files as well as opened some older files from last week where I know it had worked. Regardless of what it is set to the body appears completely solid.

Are you experiencing this issue?

Thanks for the response Phil, but the problem seems random. The file that I had issues with earlier this morning seems to be working fine now - without any changes to settings.

I had a look at my material settings and there is not an option for translucency. I typically leave everything satin steel if I'm not doing any FEA or a BOM for someone else it's a waste of time.

Thanks, if you see it again, please capture something, like an image, or Autodesk Screencast video, or share the design file so I have a little more to go on. Glad to look.

Hello.  I am having the problem mentioned in the Title of this thread.  I can create a simple 3D cube.  But when I try to change the opacity to 50%, the cube remains at 100% opaque.  When I look at the Transeparancy Effect, it is already set to 'Better Performance'.  I've tried all the suggestion in this thread, with no change.  I just renewed my Personal account on 1/5/21, but I was having this problem before then.  What is more irritatingis that all my  friends opacity changes do as they should.

Thanks for your time.

@Anonymous

I'm assuming in all this time you've experienced this your computer has been restarted, so we can eliminate that step.

Can you share one of these designs? Nothing special, just make a new design with a rectangular box that does not respond to opacity control and export it. (File > Export) or Share Public Link.

Glad to take a look, but this is going to require a design to look at.
