You have a combination of solid bodies and surface bodies.

This model needs a lot of work.

Are you willing to start over from scratch with instructions?

 

Tip: You should very rarely use Move.  Move is almost always the wrong move (pun intended) as used by beginners.

Sure, I'll give it a shot. I use move as a troubleshooting tool to help me understand why features aren't doing what I expected but if there's a way to avoid it, I'm all ears.
