Offshore Use - overloading network capacity

Hi,

I am offshore on a vessel & we have several Autodesk products installed on our workstations.

Our ISP has reported the application Autodesk Fusion 360 is responsible for saturating the usable bandwidth limits from the vessel & it is entirely due to this application.

I checked our stations & did not find autodesk fusion 360 in the lineup of autodesk applications.

Is this application bundled inside the other software? Is it a update that runs automatically? How can i disable the update?

Im in a position now where i am about to remove all autodesk software.

We need our connectivity for other resources & autodesk software is creating problems for us.....

@knott_p Autodesk Fusion is not bundled within any other application and yes we do update automatically IF you give that permission. Are you on windows or a Mac?

1. Are you on windows or Mac?
2. Do you see Autodesk Fusion in add/remove programs or launchpad?
3. I assume you do not have the need to use Fusion? If so can you safely uninstall it?

@knott_p Is there only one machine that you are using? is it possible that out of multiple machines someone has Fusion installed?

If you search for Fusion 360 does it give any hits?

i have checked all of the workstations, none of them have fusion installed. The autodesk lineup are all as per the attached pic.

Yet, our ISP informs us that fusion360 is the culprit....

@knott_p @I am really stumped on what could be happening here. If you are sure that none of the machine have Fusion wondering how this can run Fusion.

Is it possible to block Fusion from the ISP side ?

that was one of the first things i requested to our ISP & network security, but it is not blocked yet.... can you tell me the full name of the (*.exe) that fusion 360 runs as? I will check in the task manager on the machine in question, and see which applications use high net utilization
