Hi @Anonymous,

I understand you're not able to select a curve to offset. Which sketch is the curve in, and has the curve already been offset?

I think the curve has already been offset - it’s the top curve in the drawing file I sent. It just will not allow me to select it to perform an offset.
Also for some bizarre reason I’ve noticed that my mouse selection sometimes just doesn’t work within Fusion (I’m using a Wacom pad),
and I have to switch to a mouse instead of the pen and then back again. There does not appear to be any logic, and this is the only program on my machine that behaves erratically like this.
Grateful for any help…
Thanks Sebastien

Hi @Anonymous,

It looks like the reason you weren't able to offset it was that it was moved off of the sketch plane into 3D space-- when I moved the sketch elements back down to the sketch plane I was able to offset them as expected.

As for your mouse selection, can you please double check to make sure your selection filters aren't excluding anything?

Hi - I have a similar problem to @Anonymous but with a complication.  I too cannot offset a curve, and the curved object I want to offset was moved by me from its original position.  Problem is, I've only just started using Fusion (<1 week); I'm not sure exactly what I did to move the curved object, but ever since moving it, it has left an identically shaped blue outline behind it;  your comment to the previous user seemed to be to move the object back to its original position before off-setting it.  But I need the curved object to stay where it is now when I off-set it, I don't want it back in its original position.  (It's the fin of a rocket ship booster, and when first drawn was disconnected from the main booster with a big space between the two.  I moved it so the two parts would 'join up' and become one booster)

So 2 questions please:

(1) How do I keep the curved object where it is to offset it; and

(2) How do I get rid of the blue outline which really doesn't look like it should be there ?

Any help appreciated.  Sorry to be such a novice !
