Obliged to run the tool utility to repair Fusion360 quite often

I am running Fusion 360, not commercial version on an iMac 2017 27"  i7 16gb ram and 1to ssd with plenty of space.

I am in learning mode, I started using it about two weeks ago.

I had in quite a few occasions the same issue and it is really annoying.

Quite frequently Fusion360 doesn't start after it claimed that the network was lost and I am in offline mode or after I did quit the application (carefully) I don't get a splash screen, nothing. Even if I wait a long time nothing happens.

I am obliged each time to run the supplied utilities tool to repair the application, this process is quite long and this is really annoying.

Can you help ?

Thanks

Charles

@cpinatel It would help the next time you are not able to start the product, before you do the repair, can you run Gather system info and attach the diagnostics logs.zip

Just to be sure, please make sure that the macOS is also up-to-date.

So in the service utility run the gather system info and it will generate zip files.

Hi, it happened just now again. I had a message (screen print enclosed) telling me that I was in offline mode although we had no internet cut (I didn't close Fusion yesterday evening), I then saved yesterdays' work just in case and closed Fusion 360, when I tried to restart it, same punition , it would not start.

I am running the tools application again now, but it is sloooow !  Each time a repair solved the problem, but I find it annoying.  It seems that the repair download a version of Fusion again and again.

Is there a solution to this ?  I read in another post that I wasn't the only guy in this situation.

Thanks in advance.

Charles

@cpinatel Here is what I am going to recommend and see what happens.

1. Close Fusion 360
2. Restart machine
3. Run a complete uninstall of fusion
4. Reinstall again

If you hit this issue again, we would like the log files

How to collect logs:

1. Go to the launch pad
2. Run Fusion service utility
3. Run gather system info

Attach the zip files here.
