Not being able to change colour in fusion 360

Hi, 

I am not being able to select  colours in fusion 360. 

Component colour cycling toggle is on.

Is it possible to select from a colour chart. other than the listed colours. Untitled.png

the image in your post does not look like you have Component Color Cycling enabled.  Are you sure of that?

 

Do you want to change the color of the component with color cycling on or off?  If you want to change the color assigned during color cycling, use the Cycle Component Color command by right-clicking on the component in the browser:

but, that just cycles through a fixed list of colors, you cannot choose a color.

 

The Appearance command has no effect while color cycling is on.

Thanks for the reply. I am new to fusion. It helped me to learn how fusion works. 

 

Is there a way to lock in a particular colour.?

Not for Color cycling.

You can create whatever color Appearances you want.
