Not able to open bodies/sketches drop down in any files except for 2

Having a couple strange issues with fusion not letting me left click on the bodies or sketches or origin drop downs to access individuals. I aslo am only able to view/ unview the parts by right clicking. But i have noticed a couple random files that will let me work on them as normal. Doesn't seem to matter if its a new file or an existing one. I am assuming its a bug after the latest update. I have tried all the functions i know to repair, reinstall, and reupdate the software. I need this for classes and it is pretty inconvenient that it stopped working.

Please attach a screen capture of what you are seeing.  Also attach a sample of one of the files you are having issues with.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

I get the same screen when I right click on the Bodies Folder but you are not showing what you get if your expand it.  Also, what do you see when you right click on the features and sketch in the timeline.  You are not showing the Forum the problems you are describing.

So you are saying you cannot left click select the icon indicated?  If so, try one of the other Graphic Drivers in Fusion Preferences.

I just noticed, you are using a MAC.  Graphic Drivers are different for a MAC.  I am using a Windows based system.  I have no suggests since I am unfamiliar with MAC architecture.

I am having the exact same issue, where no matter what I try (Drivers, re-installing fusion, updating computer, using Fusion Repair utilities, etc) I cannot access the dropdowns. Below is a video of me left-clicking the dropdown arrow and it not working. I am also attaching the communication I had with Fusion support which was no help. Any suggestions?

"

Zachary Lehr: I use Fusion without any add ons and for the last three days, the drop down options to select specific bodies, components, sketches, etcetera have not been working. when I click them, nothing happens. It has basically made fusion unusable for me. I have tried several times to uninstall Fusion and then download it again, but the problem persists. Please recomend solutions / next steps. I use fusion on a mac

Autodesk Assistant: Based on the search results provided, it seems like the issue you are experiencing with Fusion on your Mac could be related to a specific defect. Here are some recommended solutions and next steps based on the information gathered:

For Mac Users:
1. Users have reported that drop-down menus in the Fusion 360 toolbar do not open on macOS. When selected, they flash and disappear. This behavior may be isolated to the left side of the screen.
2. Try using the Repair function:
- Use the Repair option from the Fusion 360 Service Utility.
3. Configure the Rectangle program:
- If the Rectangle program is installed on macOS, configure it according to the provided screenshot.

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to consider reaching out to Fusion 360 support for further assistance, as this could be a specific defect that requires additional troubleshooting.

Please note that the provided solutions are based on the search results and may not directly address your issue.

Zachary Lehr: I tried using the repair option, but it did not fix the issue

Autodesk Assistant: Since the repair option did not resolve the issue with the drop-down menus in Fusion 360 on your Mac, you can try the following steps:

1. Configure the Rectangle program:
- If the Rectangle program is used on macOS, configure it according to the provided screenshot.

2. Change High DPI Settings:
- Right click the Fusion desktop shortcut and select "open file location".
- Right click the launcher and select Properties.
- Go to the compatibility tab.
- Click Change High DPI Settings.
- Change the "High override DPI scaling behavior. Scaling performed by:" selection to Application or System (Not System (enhanced)).

If the issue persists after trying these steps, you may consider reaching out to Fusion 360 support for further assistance.

Zachary Lehr: none of that worked

Autodesk Assistant: Based on the information you provided, you might find this content helpful.

Zachary Lehr: Connect with an agent

Autodesk Assistant: Of course, I can help with that.

Autodesk Assistant: First, share your question in detail so that I can get you the right kind of help.

Saif K: please share the screenshot.

Zachary Lehr: What do you want a screenshot of? The dropdowns?

Saif K: Yes please

Saif K: let me review it

Zachary Lehr: I also sent a video of the issue

Saif K: Thank you, allow me a moment to review them.

I have the same problem (MacOS). However, if I click into an item in the browser, I can use the keyboard arrow keys to toggle the items open and closed. I can right click to show/hide (or click "V"). Not ideal...

I was also having this issue on an M2 MacBook Air when Fusion did an auto update on me yesterday.  I updated the MacOS to Sequoia last night and it solved the issue.   Hope this helps.

Same issue here (macOS Sonoma 14.1 on Mac Mini M1). I'm not inclined to upgrade to Sequoia only to get this working.
