Not able to add flange to edge on converted part

I am trying to add a third flange to the top of the uploaded part. Normally I would start with a sheet metal part, but due to the complex geometry on the two side flanges it seemed to be easier to make a solid body and convert to sheet metal.

It worked mostly, but I am unable to add a top flange. I tried modeling it in the solid body and converting to sheet metal, but it did not work. I also tried adding a flange to the edge, but it is not recognized. 

Not sure of a good solution, any help is appreciated

It is not real pretty but here is your model with the added flange, reliefs and then converted to sheet metal.
