No points for engineering drawing

I want to dimension the length of an ellipse shape I created in Fusion 360, however there are no points available for me to dimension. How can I add points so that I can show this dimension in my engineering drawings? The image is attached. The model I am designing is confidential but I can provide some pictures.

In Design add a sketch point to where you want, then in Drawing workspace show that sketch from Browser and use it for dimension.

Hi, the sketch I made has been greyed out, means it is unselectable. What do I do now?

You should first turn on the visibility of sketch folder. Check here.
