Hi, I've been unable to split Body 1, 4 or 5 with the same process as used to split Body 6.   To split Body 6 I created a plane using three points and split body function using the created plane as the splitting tool.  I've been unable to do the same process with Body 1, 4 and 5 can't figure out why.  Any suggestions?

I recommend that you:

1. Start over.

2. Make sure that Capture Design History is enabled.

3. After your first sketch - STOP - and attach the file here for tips by the experts here before moving to next step.

I had to guess what planes you wanted to use to Spit a couple of the bodies so check behind me.  To make the Split Body command work, I offset the cutting plane(s) by .001".  You will never see it.  Model is attached.

The @TheCADWhisperer is correct, you need to turn on Capture Design History the next time you model.
