In Fusion 360 2d drawings, I tried to change the line thickness and it doesn't change.  I clicked the display button but no change.  What am I doing wrong?

After setting up your desired line widths, you must be sure to turn them "ON".  Notice the lower red arrow in my screen capture showing the check box.  If you hover over the word "Display" it will show the complete checkbox description.

John,   Yes, I have my display box checked and on the left where it says DISPLAY LINE WIDTHS:  YES/NO.  Mine says YES.   But the line widths did not change.  Even when I tried different line widths.     Steve

Take a look at the Screencast where I demonstrate the process of changing line widths in the drawing.  You can also go to your Preferences and select the line width settings you want by default.  Preferences are found under your log-in picture/name in the upper right hand corner.  If it does not work for you I have no other suggest exempt check your graphic card settings.

Thanks for trying John,  I did everything you did and it doesn't change at all.   If I knew what to look for in my graphics program, I would try, but to be honest, I don't know what to change.  Maybe someone else has a suggestion.  Thanks,  Steve

Hi @realtorscb ,

This looks like a bug, I have reported this issue (FDWG-13167) for internal tracking purposes.
Since it is found not reproducible internally, can you please help with a few of the below questions;
1 - Are you facing this problem with new drawings even or it is just specific to existing drawing files?
2 - Can you share some sample files for investigation purpose?

Thanks & regards

I have this problem when I create a drawing from a template. For drawings created from scratch, everything works. I have to use custom title blocks and I cannot copy them between drawings, which makes the drawing module completely useless!

I've updated Fusion today and my problem is not solved. Still when creating a drawing from a template, lineweight does not work.

Hi, I have the same problem ... if I create new drawing or new template, everything is ok.
If I use my template, the lineweight does not work. There is not a problem to create the new template, but I have created a lot of drawings based on it and now I need export them with lineweight.... is there some possibility to repait them?
Thank you

Hello @Lukas_Snopek

Sorry to know that you are facing this issue. Would it be possible to share the template file with us and possibly the drawing file so that we can debug the issue better?

Hi @rohit.bapat ,
thanks for your repply! Here you have the template, drawings created with the template and without it.
If you export drawings via DXF to AutoCad, you will see, that all lines are directly set to one thicknes, no to "by Layer"
