New install on windows 10. Only available to my login profile ? Why?

I install Fusion 360 on a newly installed windows 10 laptop.  I am only using this laptop to teach other people, at the machine shop who are frustrated with using  master-cam.

I created other login profile (in windows 10).  I logout of my profile, login to theirs - and the FUSION 360 application is not available.  Autodesk INVENTOR is available, along with all the rest of all my other applications installed on the laptop to be used.

Is there some unusual step I missed to installing this application ?  I tried to create a shortcut - and the .EXE file isn't even located in \program files\ folder.  Really confused, please advise.

Fusion is installed in the user profile by default. Most user permissions would not include access to the files in another user's profile. You can get a good idea of where everything is installed by reviewing the manual clean uninstall instructions:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How...

There is a multi-user or lab install version of Fusion 360; however, it must be updated manually at regular intervals. This version of Fusion 360 does not update on its own. This is important to mention because files are not backwards compatible. So if a file is saved in a newer version of Fusion, it will not be able to be opened in an older version.

I hope this helps though!

Cheers,
