New credit Limit on Cloud rendering

Hey,

I have been using fusion 360 (education license) for a while now, and up until recently for most of the high-quality renderings I did, used cloud credits ( unlimited ), but now it shows that the rendering requires cloud credits which are being deducted out of 100 cloud credits which I (don't know how but I) have.

I am a little confused here. When I check the details about cloud credits, it shows unlimited for education license and 100 on my personal account. The simulation and generative design workbench use the cc from the education license (unlimited cc) whereas the rendering use cc from my personal account( limited to 100 cc).

Can someone please help me out here and explain what's going on? Thanks in advance!

When the 100 credits run out you will be using the unlimited education credits afterwards.

Dear @Phil.E sir,

Thank you for your response. But, now I have the following questions-

  1. I wanted to know if you are sure about this? I mean because I am a student it is not actually possible for me to buy the credits.
  2. Why did they give 100 credits when an individual is anyways going to get unlimited credits if he/she were to exhaust the limit? Does this create confusion?

1. Yes. There is an issue with the render dialog that prevents it from showing the available accounts.

2. Check preferences to see your cloud credits.

And to answer your question, yes it causes confusion as yourself is reporting. Thanks for the feedback.

Hey! I am back.

I have exhausted my personal cc and yet I am unable to use the allocated education cc. Is there something that I am supposed to change? As in to toggle some switch?

Do you see an education account with unlimited credits in the preferences dialog, like the picture above?

Have you tried restarting Fusion or your computer?
