Need help with creating thickness

Hi everyone.

Im pretty new to Fusion360 and I cant seem to figure out how to give slightly complex models thickness of 2mm.

I'm a toy modeler with a animation/ games background. meaning I am more of a Organic zbrush / maya artist.

Screenshot 2023-05-03 090315.png

I modeled the surface by importing a mesh from zbrush into fusion and retopologized it with the surface face tool.

I hope you can help me out, because I will have to create a lot more models like this in the future and I can't seem to figure out a stable workflow.

Thanks in advance!

Good day @job.hermes,

I believe the issue is due to the mesh overlapping when you use shell or offset face.

I had to sitch the mesh to get a sold -> duplicate the solid -> scale it (and orientate) -> Then combine (Cut)

I would recommend that you look at the T-Spline sculpting inside of F360 for your sculpting needs.

I found it works better downstream with F360.
