Ok so I contacted support and got this reply.
basic they are suggesting that it’s not there problem and we should just set up a email filter to delete them. Absurd. How is this my problem to fix.
anyway. Go and make a support request and tell this this is dumb.
see email below.
Hi John,
Thank you for contacting Autodesk Technical Support.
My name is Avinash Patil . This support request has been escalated to me for further review, and I’ll be assisting you with this.
From the case description, I understand that you are having a problem getting every hour for almost two days, you get an email about Your hub is ready for collaborative editing. You want this to really stop.
To stop these automated migration alerts, you need to turn off email notifications in your Autodesk account settings or apply an inbox filter. Because this migration is a mandatory, irreversible backend upgrade, standard unsubscribes often fail, requiring you to block them directly.
Method 1: Turn off notifications in the Web Client
- Sign in to your Autodesk Fusion Web Client.
- Click your Profile Icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
- Scroll down to the Notifications tab.
- Under Email Notifications, adjust the settings to your preferred frequency or disable them entirely.
- Click Save.
Method 2: Create a Rules Filter in Your Email Client
Since server-wide rollout notices can occasionally bypass notification toggles, a permanent workaround used by the Autodesk community is to set up a rule in your email (Gmail, Outlook, etc.).
- Condition: If the sender contains autodesk.comor the subject contains "Your hub is ready for collaborative editing".
- Action: Set the rule to automatically Mark as read and Archive / Move to a folder (e.g., "Autodesk Alerts") so it skips your inbox.
Method 3: Mute Forum Threads
If you are receiving dozens of emails from the community forum itself:
- Go to the Autodesk Fusion Forums and sign in.
- Find the specific "Collaborative Editing" thread you are following.
- Click the Options or Subscribe/Mute button on the thread and select Mute or Stop Subscribing.
I hope this helps you resolve the problem. Please feel free to write back to me if you need any further help with this. I will be more than happy to assist you further in this.
Thank you again for contacting Autodesk, and have a nice day!
Best regards,
Avinash Patil
