Moving project to team broke all the drawing's references.

I recently moved a project from a personal account to a team, and today I needed to edit the drawings to have some sheet metal parts manufactured.

Some drawings were just fine, while some others referenced another design I had in that folder instead of their original one and would completely change to that part as soon as I updated anything, and in two other drawing folders all the drawings refereced a completely different design that wasn't even in that folder.

All the drawings were fine last time I updated them and the only thing I did since was transfer the project to a team.

I'm sure the current drawings are not recoverable since you can't reassing the reference, not a major issue since I have to redo all of them anyway, but I still wanted to report it since I was forced to edit them directly using an external program on the exported file I had from last time.

Please update me if you look into this, thank you.

Have a nice day,

Daniele.

Hi @s.daniele01

Thanks for sharing this with us. One method of recovering the drawings would be to export the data from your personal hub as an F3Z, this would bring over all the referenced data and would ensure that all of the drawings come over perfectly.

Hey there @ClintBrown3D , thanks for the reply,

Sadly I have already moved the drawings to the team hub so I have nowhere to recover them from, but rest assured I won't make this mistake again, as I have noticed that in another project I moved, some derived parameters in some designs became design parameters, destroying the whole point of having them derived in the first place.

So now I have to go in every feature and replace the ex derived parameters with the new derived parameters.

Not fun I must say, especially because fusion will say "you can't delete this parameter because it is used in expression d69" but wont tell you where the hell d69 is. I'm pretty pissed at the mess moving projects to a team did.

If you have 5 minutes please read my last 2 posts in the support forum, they are suggestions for the rectangular pattern feature that I think wouldn't be too hard to implement but would help a whole lot in complex designs.

Have a good day.

Daniele
