Is it possible to move a body in one file to a separate file?

Hi @Anonymous,

 

As far as i know the only way to do this would be export a Component with that body. Simply create component from bodies and export to a new file - make sure to check the box:

If you follow rule #1 and use components then you can copy the component and Paste New to another document. This will only work without errors if the component is totally self contained.

 

Another way to just copy a body is, select the body and copy then in the destination document create a base feature. With the base feature active you have the option to paste.
