Mouse scrolling not zooming in/out after January 2025 update

Just encountered this issue after the last update which was in January 2025. Immediately after updating my mouse scroll wheel stopped zooming and instead started scrolling. Very annoying and time-wasting. None of the aforementioned solutions worked for Windows. This is most definitely a bug.

Please try unchecking Use Gesture-based View Navigation under the General section of Preferences.

Check your settings in preferences. On one of my PCs the setting was changed from Solidworks to PowerMill with the last update.

I unchecked 'Use Gesture-based View Navigation' and it fixed my problem. Thanks!

Thanks for the solution, and no thanks for changing basic behavior without warning. UI people never learn.

Just to add another data point; I use RDP to access a Windows installation from my main computer which runs Linux (because Autodesk refuse to port it to Linux, for some reason). A recent update to Fusion resulted in the mouse wheel simultaneously zooming and scrolling, making it virtually unusable. Disabling "Use gesture -based view navigation" has fixed this for me. Oddly, if I accessed the Windows machine via VNC, it didn't exhibit this behaviour.

Unchecking Use Gesture-based View Navigation under the General section of Preferences worked for me thanks. The other problem I had with this update was that it removed my 3d printer, took me a while to realise what had happened to it
