I don't know why Autodesk focuses on new features when basic ones are so broken.

@phillipJSCHJ The first part of the video shows that you are not having any issues to orbit. It appears like you are trying to close Fusion when you re presented with the UI that you cannot close when there are pending uploads. Is this when you see that the orbit is stuck?

If you go into the top right "clock icon" and click on Job status, do you see an upload that is stuck in the queue?

It was stuck on unless the curser was outside of the work space.

It was having issues the entire time it's just that the curser wasn't in the workspace.

I can't tell from your video; are you on PC or Mac? Are you using the keyboard to orbit, or do you have a SpaceMouse?

@phillipJSCHJ

This issue has been reported here many many times over the past few years.

I find it astonishing that anyone from Autodesk is just now discovering this.

I guess there are new hires all the time.

A search of these forums should turn up the prior discussion history of this topic.

It's not a hardware issue. It's a Fusion issue.

I've seen this occasionally as well, both on macOS and Windows, but it is pretty rare.

I believe one of the mouse buttons or the escape key gets control back to the mouse. It's never been that much of a nuisance that I felt the need to report it.

Having to close projects and restart everything, especially with Fusion's incredibly slow cloud connection, is more than a nuisance.

Agreed, but I don't experience either of those!

I use Fusion 360 from home (AMD Ryzen 5950X, 64GB, RTX3070ti) , from work Dell (Precision Laptop i7-10850H 2.7Ghz, 32 GB, NVIDIA QUADRO T2000) , when travelling, domestically in the US or overseas to Germany ( 2017 MacBook Pro, 16GB, AMD Radeon).

All without having to shut a thing down due to orbit problems, or slow cloud connection.

That doesn't mean I am dismissing your experience, but it might explain why things might be a bit more difficult to figure out 😉

The reality is that folks like yourself needn't to be making excuses for how broken Fusion is these days. It's a years-old bug? lololololololololol

I am convinced your last two contributions will help resolve the issue. Good Luck 😉
