Opened F360 this morning. Notived the YOU MUST UPGRADE banner.
Except I had the version which, F360 said, would exempt me from upgrade.
It didn't offer me an upgrade option, so I wasted time looking for that.
Only much later did I discover that F360 had initiated a download and would install th eupgrade next time I logged in.
My point is - make this things crystal clear. It's easy to do, yet not doing it wasted our time and, for many of us, installs anger and resentment against the product and the company. You are a mature company, You should know far better than this.
Came back later. The designs I wnated to work on a greyed out and can't be opened. "Last refreshed: Never" they say, but there ar eno error messages - F360 just ignores me. Click ignore. Click ignore. Click ignore. What fun!
Then I eventually noticed a TINY red dot in the job status icon. If I click it, I see F360 is offline. THAT is the only indication and THAT IS ENTIRELY NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
I don't get it. I've spent time in meetings with the folks who write and support this product, and they appearto be grteat people who really care. I just don't understand how these abysmal issues can get out into the wild.
Does anyone know?
