model looks washed out

How do I get what I'm modeling to not look washed out on the side facing me?
I have to turn it at an angle to see the features facing me.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

I got it sorted out in the display settings. 🙂
