Mirror feature doesn't work
Try activating the component which contains the feature first.

It all boils down to the fact the original extrusion, you are trying to mirror, goes through two bodies on the original leg that do not exist on the opposite side of the leg. When you try to then mirror the feature, the bodies do not match up and it fails. Switch to mirroring the sketch, for the cutout it will propagate to the leg since it is a Copy. This is my theory, I look forward to other input. Model is attached.
