I am trying to mirror this hole (highlighted in the picture below), but I get a compute failed error.
I have attached the .f3z file

Which plane are you trying to mirror about? If it is Plane2:
That fails because the mirror would cut empty space. You can see that if you edit the Revolve to be New Body, and mirror that:
