Microfreezes with latest updates

Hi all,

I am having some performance issues with Fusion since around March/April this year.

Mainly this means that very often there is a freeze/stuttering typically for a couple seconds (sometimes almost after each action I make)

Maybe calculating times of some other actions are actually reduced with latest updates, but it is not much of a help, when on the other hand I have to wait several seconds after every small action. And loading times of big assembly drawings etc. are still long anyway.

Right now it is quite bad, almost unusable to be honest.

The short freeze problem seem to affect drawing space mainly. Also new detail views and other views to some extent take really long time to create.

Honestly I am not sure if the assembly I am working with is more complex in regard to these drawing calculations, compared to the ones I created earlier (how could I check this?). I would guess it must be around the same (similar type of equipment and complexity of design).

Also I am using Win 10 (latest version). I think it should be OK.

I just wanted to check if any of you have the same problem (could not really find these symptoms exactly in earlier posts), if it is a known general  issue to be fixed, or if it is a problem on my part (but maybe there is way to fix it?).

Thank you for any help,

Roland

@Roland.Kalamar Can you confirm a couple of things?

1. Are you seeing this lag in certain assemblies or in general ? (Would you be able to share those assemblies if they are assembly specific?)

2. Can you check to see if you have the latest graphics drivers?

3. If you go in to Fuion Help - Support and diagnostics - graphics diagnostics - paste the results here?

Dear Rajkumar,

Thank you,

1) Mainly drawings from the same assembly, but also from sub-assemblies of that design. So the problem seems to be more general.

2) I just checked and updated Nvidia driver as you can see below. I was a bit behind.

3)

[GPU Information]
GPU Device: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
GPU RAM: 4096 MB
GPU Driver API: DirectX 11.0
GPU Driver Version: 555.99
GPU Driver Date: 06/02/2024

[Graphics Effects Settings]
Anti Aliasing: Off
Ambient Occlusion: Off
Object Shadow: Off
Ground Shadow: On
Ground Reflection: On
Selection Display Style: NormalTransparency Effect: Better Performance

[Limit effects to optimize performance]
Off

For now I will try with latest driver and see if it could be it. Anyway if there is any other idea for improvement please let me know.

@Roland.Kalamar Would it be possible to share this assembly or invite me into your project? It looks like something in that particular design may be causing this experience.
