Mesh Workspace enabling but not recognizing

I have followed the prompt to enable the mesh workspace preview, and I've checked the box and pressed apply but when I go back to edit the mesh again, it still comes up with this infobox

Did you close and restart Fusion after enabling the mesh workspace?

I did but it did not work, but I just did again and it did work. So I'm not sure what was wrong. But, Thank You!

You're not alone, I had to close Fusion 360 twice before that Mesh Workspace Preview dialog box would go away, and finally it would actually create a mesh.  Appreciate you leaving that feedback, I was wondering what was going on after I'd closed it once- who'd have thought closing it twice would be needed?

the button apply dont activate when i flag mesh preview into preferences …. so fusion dont apply nothing

I have followed all the directions I could find on the forum and even disabling Capture Design History, restarting the app, restarting the computer, updating the OS. Im using a Macbook with macOS Mojave 10.14 The other issue is that Ive been getting an error on startup but it doesn't seem to affect Fusion360 otherwise.Error during startup

Ohhhhh.... It doesn't show up if the design history is active. Kinda stupid. I was having the same problem and just had to right click on the top component and select "Do Not Capture Design History."

well, not really.  You can create a new empty mesh using the Create Mesh command:

Or, by importing a mesh file:

then, edit the Mesh feature in the timeline:

this takes you into mesh edit mode.  To return to normal Design mode, use the Finish Mesh command:
