Measure box too small in sketch

Hi

I wonder if there is a way to make the measure box bigger in he sketch environment? I always have to scroll down to see the measurement. Below is what it does in sketch.

Here it is in solid the way I want it for sketch. How do I get both big enough so I don't have to scroll?

Looks like the measure is a bit random depending on when I pick.

After closing the box. I select "Measure" then I get this.

Close and open and select the same line, this is the result.

There is a the measurement. It does this all the time. Every second click, I can reopen with the extra measurement. Sadly it never goes to both measurements when I want to  measure two lines for instance.

This is an old, old bug! The dialogs only expand if they are docked to the edge window, in your example you'll have to move the measure dialog to the edge. To make it even worse the position is not remembered between sessions, another old bug that was introduced a couple of years ago!

The dialog will expand docked like this.

If the box does not expand automatically, you can do it manually.

I have found that the "automatic expansion" works once you have done the process manually.

What? Your box expands vertically as well? LOL! No, mine only goes horizontally! That is for both sketch and solid environment. I did wonder what was the point of only having the width expand, while the info is on the vertical! Now I know it is supposed to expand both. Blasted!!!! LOL! Seriously never had that behavior!

Hi

I except the solution although it is not technically the solution. Now that I have moved the box to the edge once, it continues to behave correctly no matter where I put it. It seems to solve it for other tabs at the same time. At least I have a work around now.

Pleases see my reply to "guenther.andresen", today I learned that the box should be able to drag in size, both vertical and horizontal. Mine still only drag horizontal in size, even though the behavior is now fixed at least till I restart!

Edit Top left when docked.

When a dialog is undocked you should be able to drag the bottom right corner, vertical or horizontal. When it's docked you can only drag the top left corner horizontally.

For me it has never worked - in fact I did not even know about "docking" until yesterday. Now after I docked once and then undock, it works as you exlplain. But no, a new session does not show this behaviour for me, manual docking and undocking at this stage to "grease the gears!"
