Materials locked

In the student version all materials are locked, and when I right click all the options are greyed out. I tried importing an assembly with the materials applied from Inventor Nastran to fusion 360, but when it's imported... all the materials become locked again.

Hi dweaver53AG8W, Thanks you for reporting this issue, could you help to provide details about the problem? 

1. Snapshot of the materials library UI with locked library and options?

2. Can you save your opened document while material library turns to grey? 

3. Could you help to share your material library folder for us to analyze the issue?

4. It would be helpful if you could provide steps when you meet the problem.
