Manufacturing contour selection preview - toolpath extension distance not working in 2D chamfer

Hi,

Just trialing the new contour selection preview in Manufacturing - definitely an improvement but I noticed that when I enter toolpath start and end extension distances in 2d chamfer tool, the toolpath seems to ignore this once generated:

Could this be due to other settings in the 2D chamfer dialog or is this an unintended behavior?

Interestingly it works ok if using 2D Contour:
