Managing Shared files

I'm looking for a way to view all shared files in a project and I can't seem to find a way to check that without looking at every single file.

Is there a way to get a list of them from the top of a folder or project so I can manage what's shared and not?

Hi @sklkengineer,

Can you expand on how you are sharing the data? Is it via a shared download link, or for people invited to collaborate on the project? For invited users - they would have full access to all data within the project. There is no way to sort by shared link files however. You may have more organizational info within A360 however.

I meant public links in particular, I think I see how to manage when invited to collaborate.

Hi @sklkengineer,

Ah, I see. Yes, there is no way to currently do this.

Inside of A360 however, if you view a file, there is an option to see if Shared Public Link is enabled. You cannot sort by this however.

Autodesk please add this possibility to quickly manage all links. I really want to have a quick overview of what links are shared. The list should also allow a simple turn off of sharing.
Also in the Desktop version, there should be a small sign indicating that a shared Link is active for this file.
In the latest autodesk360, I found no indication at all if the file has a shared link or not. This is really bad and should be fixed asap!

I feel like some serious consideration should be put to this. It feels kind of unsecure when you're working with even semi-important IP. Not being able to see all outstanding links and control them sketches me out.

Also, it turns out that each version a model will keep its share link. So even if you turn off sharing on your current model, you will need to go into your design history and open the shared version to disable share link. If you move on to a new version, that makes it incredibly hard to come back and deactivate old links.

If you lose track of what you shared, it would be a nightmare to try and manually find and delete shared files. Yikes!

Managing shared links seems like a real necessity for a collaborative design tool like Fusion. It has to be possible to view all active sharing links and be able to manage them.

I hope Autodesk will introduce this feature.
