main window freezes

A couple of weeks ago the following problem started:

Quite often when I set the PC into "Energy-save-mode" und reactivate it, the main window of F360 is frozen. Looks ok at first:

But no more update of the displayed graphics. I enlarged the window somewhat to show the problem.

All the icons, the browser, etc can be clicked on and will respond, but not the graphics in the window. You need to restart f360 to continue work.

If you are using a Windows 10 based computer, you can use the "Sleep" option generally without any issues.  On the other hand, the "Hibernate" option should be avoided as I have had generally bad results with an number of applications including Fusion 360.

Hi,

it is Win10. I do not know, what the exact expressions are in english. In german, it looks like that:

picadilly_0-1628198057091.png

And i would translate:

log off

energy save

retirement

shutdown

restart

I have a lot of installed programs and f360 is the only one with this problem.

I am not sure about all the Power settings that your are showing and their equalivant to English Windows 10 but as you can see, I have Hibernate totally disabled on my system.  I use Sleep all the time without issue but Hibernate always gave me issues in Fusion 360.  Try just using Sleep and see if you have issues.

A window schould simply not freeze when setting a PC into energy save and activate it again.

Do others have the same problem?

What graphics card are you using, has the driver updated recently? Does it have any power management settings in control panel;?
